Description

We are working with our client based in Gateshead who combine engineering innovation, specialist servicing, spares supply and consultancy in order to design and manufacture metal decorating and coating equipment.

We are assisting the client in the searchfor a CNC Miller on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for the production of manufactured parts from drawings, using CNC machines and Mazak programming.


Responsibilities

  • To set, operate and program allocated machines to produce manufactured parts to the drawing specification in the most efficient way possible
  • To satisfy internal quality standards and procedures in relation to part supply
  • To participate in training in lean manufacturing techniques
  • To achieve personal and team targets in relation to utilization and efficiency
  • Carry out any duties requested by the Team Leader that are within capabilities

Person Specification

  • Timeserved CNC Miller with experience of Mazak programming is essential
  • Experience of Puma machines or Fanuc programming would be beneficial
  • Flexible, committed and honest
