A Church of England Secondary school based in Wigan are searching for a Science Teacher to predominantly teach KS3 pupils.

This role is to start immediately, however the school are willing to wait for the perfect fit for the role.

The job is to continueuntil at least Easter but may last longer.

The ideal teacher will encourage pupils to flourish whist they follow very high expectations set by the school.

The school are unapologetically ambitious and aspirational for all pupils therefore you must fit in with the schools values and visions.

The required experience for the Science Teacher role is:

  • Knowledge and Understanding of Science Education
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage
  • Relevant Teaching qualifications (PGCE/QTS/etc)
  • A teacher with a passion for improving standards consistently
  • Chemistry specialism preferred (not essential)
  • A teacher who can create an inclusive environment, and remove all barriers to learning
  • Proactive and resilient
