The Strategic Sourcing Agent Risk & Sustainability role will be a critical piece of the overall Sourcing Organization. They will provide a blend of support at both the tactical and strategic level to deliver results in line with business goals. This individual will serve as a Strategic Sourcing Agent reporting to the Commodity Manager, Strategic Sourcing. This person will assist and improve risk mitigation activities and processes on a global basis across all of Pall's direct material suppliers.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Liaise across Pall business units with relevant internal stakeholders (Sourcing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Marketing, Manufacturing, and SLS) and external suppliers on risk mitigation measures and process improvements.
Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks using available data and review and implement opportunities for internal & external risk process improvement. Understand and promote the business environment and risk management approaches of Pall Corporation.
Support the Strategic Sourcing Manager Risk and Sustainability with key sourcing sustainability metrics. Build, distribute & drive actions on regular reporting on sustainability and collaborate with key stakeholders to address specific supply base sustainability efforts for Pall.
This role is handson, be that via the training of our team, or the education and/or auditing of our supply base. Positive collaboration internally within our function but also with our internal customers within Pall Corporation, our supply base, and customers of Pall Corporation.

The essential requirements of the job include:

This position requires a BS degree in Business, Procurement/Sourcing, Engineering, or Relevant "hands-on" experience without a degree will be considered.
Functional knowledge & experience related to Supplier Risk Identification and Mitigation, and knowledge of common industryrelated methods, processes, and tools.
Experience working within regulated product markets, such as Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Energy, and/or Food and Beverage a plus.
A minimum of 2 years of progressive risk management, strategic sourcing, and/or project management responsibilities and a thorough understanding and experience in sourcing processes and practices.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Ability to generate and promote innovative ideas and challenge the status quo. A never-ending drive for continuous improvement is required.
An Innovative performer with the ability to think outside of the box, ability to selfdirect, and motivate and influence crossfunctional teams
Project Management and Supply risk management are a plus.
