PURPOSE OF POST:


As Finance Assistant you will be supporting the Finance and wider GlobalView team through the provision of administration of tasks.

Including the administration of the Purchase & Sales Ledger on Sage 50.

This role liaises with all areas of the company on a daily basis so excellent organisation and communication skills are essential.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Administration of the Sales Ledger, including raising sales orders, allocating stock, despatching of goods and raising sales invoices.
  • Assist with Month end close, including the preparation of Prepayments, Accruals, Intangible Additions and associated journals and Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Coordinating with customers and suppliers
  • Processing of expenses
  • General stock control and stock takes
  • Processing credit card, bank accounts and payment runs
  • Assist with QA, H&S and audits
  • Cover for Admin Assistant duties, including Administration of the Purchase Ledger, Jobs Database, Production, RMA Database and Answering telephone
  • Other administration tasks as required to assist the Finance and other departments

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:


  • 2 years' experience working in similar role
  • 5 GCSE's A*C or equivalent including Maths & English
  • AAT level 2 preferred
  • Sage 50 experience
  • Computer literate with good experience of Excel, Word & Access

£20,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
