IT Support Engineer - Immediately Required

Duration: 3 months initially

Location:
Mansfield

Hours:
Full time; Mon - Fri

Pay Rate:
£14.34/hr _via Umbrella_

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 1st Line Engineer to assist a public sector organisation in the support of their IT services.

The post-holder will be depended upon to resolve or escalate all reported technical issues, and to work as part of a teamin supporting users.

Installation of approved software
Troubleshooting hardware; Laptops, PCs, standalone printers
Resolving issues with network printers
Ensuring IT issues are resolved within applicable IT SLA tolerances
User account management with Active Directory; creating accounts, adjusting permissions, resetting passwords
Assisting the department with BAU reprographics
Triaging and resolving complex IT situations and issues, escalating when necessary
Strong communications skills to relay technical information to nontechnical persons
Working knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 operating systems, MS Office365, and other associated accessories
Prior experience is preferred
