Would you like a role working for an advanced engineering company specialising in manufacturing carbon fibre and composite components.

You can play your part in working for a range of leading-edge technology customers, currently including projects for some of the most advanced supercars and hyper cars in the world.

This position, at Polar Manufacturing Ltd (a subsidiary within Group Polar Ltd) would be as part of our dynamic team, working in our modern, purpose-built facility on the outskirts of Norwich.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing parts for coating including filling and smoothing of part surfaces
• Mixing coating liquids accurately as defined by technical specifications
• Spraying composite parts to high visual acceptance standards
• Polishing and finishing various coated and uncoated components
• Ensure parts meet the required customer quality standards
• Work within Health and Safety guidelines at all times
• Use and maintain all supplied personal protective equipment in good condition
• Maintain all company tools and equipment in a safe and clean workable condition
• Working to achieve production and quality targets set for the department

Skills and experience required:

• Previous experience of composites and automotive environments preferred
• NVQ, City & Guilds or similar qualification in paint is preferred.
• An organised, systematic and resilient approach to work
• Enthusiastic, selfmotivated and reliable
• Great communication skills and team player
• Prepared to work to flexible working patterns
• Exemplary attendance
