Description

Reporting directly to the Company Accountant, you will be an important component of our business and will play a vital role in adding to the financial operational needs of the business.

Experience or a background in accounts work would be advantageous.

Day to day duties of an Accounts Assistant:

Assisting with the monthly management accounts
Sales ledger and Aged Debtors Analysis
Credit Control
Ensuring that invoices are posted to the correct nominals
Monthly reconciliation of supplier accounts to supplier statements
Performing monthly supplier payment run
Ensuring that all payments are correctly allocated on the system
Bank reconciliations
Journal Entries
Proving support with yearend audits
Other requests from the Company Accountant

To be considered for this position, applicants must demonstrate the following skills and experience:

At least 1 years' experience within a similar role
Experience with GP Dynamics or similar software
Applicant must hold Accounting Technician qualification or qualified by experience
Competent using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel
Excellent team player, able to develop good relationships with colleagues
Able to work on own initiative and prioritize work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working within a fastpaced environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
