Our client is seeking to recruit an RFP Specialist to join their growing team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Reporting to Head of Institutional RFPs, be accountable for completing the company's responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) for investment management services, and to pension consultants' questionnaires while adhering strictly to our compliance rules.
Ensure the RFP database library is kept up to date.
Liaise with investment managers, business development, client relationship management, product specialists and other business units to coordinate the efficient collection and presentation of information/data.
Proactively share information with the wider Marketing & Product department.
Establish effective working relationships with other team members globally
Create compelling and impactful proposals that properly message firm and product capabilities and competitive advantages
Assist in the RFP vetting process, partnering with Sales as appropriate
Review and proofread work produced by other team members
Tailor standard content for customization based on individual client/prospect
Collaborate with key business partners enterprisewide
Remain apprised of firm/product developments
Provide new and updated content to the Knowledge Management team to maintain RFP database
Seek opportunities to add value, enhance processes/procedures, improve content, etc.
Build and maintain relationships with Subject Matter Experts across the firm to facilitate strong partnership during the proposal development process
Respond to regular and ad hoc requests from the sales and client teams
Ensure appropriate and clear language is used in accordance with the company principles, for product documentation and disclosures
Ensure as far as possible that disclosures, i.e. investment objectives and policies, and respective risk disclosures are reflected consistently within product documentation and across like products (where jurisdictional regulations permit)

The role requires:

Three to five years' plus experience in an RFP role within Asset Management incorporating coverage of multiple product types.
Previous experience of writing for an investment audience and some understanding of different asset classes would be advantageous.
Strong communication skills with an ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Strong writing and proofreading skills
Strong interpersonal and client relations skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a group within established guidelines
Strong project management skills with the ability to work under pressure and in a deadline driven environment
Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel and other MS Office products
Highly organized, detailoriented, proactive, and resourceful
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
