Mindful Memorials are a leading designer, manufacturer and installer of memorials across the Yorkshire region.

Operating from its artisan workshop near Melbourn you'll work as part of a small team who support the administration and accounts areas of the business.


Accounts and Administration Assistant - 24 hours per week (3 days) - up to £12 per hour

Key Responsibilities:


1.


Accounts Receivable and Payable:


  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable statements.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets as needed.
  • Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with clients for payments.

General Administration:


  • Day to day administration and updating of the Company CRM system.
  • Support general sales administration for retail and trade customers.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documents.
  • Assist with organising meetings and events as needed.

Data Entry and Record Keeping:


  • Input financial transactions into the accounting system with precision and accuracy.
  • Accurately inputting and amending data in the CRM system.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of financial transactions, expenses, and receipts.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of financial and personnel information.

Customer Service:


  • Provide excellent customer service to customers by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding administrative matters.

Assist with Special Projects:


  • Collaborate with team members on special projects or initiatives as assigned.
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the department.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Proven experience (13 years) in an administrative or accounting role.
  • Experience in accounting software (Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
  • Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
