Are you Passionate, do you have a desire to achieve set targets? We are looking for a Commercial Executive to join the sales team on the UK's largest and most established food and drink trade event, IFE, International Food & Drink Event.

IFE celebrates the ENTIRE world of food and drink, from plant based to speciality, organic to frozen all showcased in this exciting global event.

THE POSITION & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


You will be integrated into a fun-loving team selling exhibition space and sponsorship to both previous and new customers/partners over the telephone and face to face.

Supporting the Event Manager with accurate floorplan management and ensuring that the CRM is always up to date.

Your close relationship with the show team, including Operations, Marketing and project co-ordinators will develop the event for the relevant industry.

By attending industry networking events and competitor events you will be able to identify commercial opportunities, gain industry feedback as well as increasing your sector knowledge.


COMPETENCIES

  • A high level of organisational skills, with a methodical approach, ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload, with effective sales planning.
  • Selfmotivated and performance driven, with a desire to achieve goals and attain commercial success.
  • Ability to demonstrate objection handling, negotiation and closing skills both over the phone and face to face.
  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written, with all stakeholders.
  • Experience of writing/compiling detailed partnership and sponsorship proposals is preferable bu not essential
  • Knowledge and experience using CRM systems is preferable bu not essential
  • Ability to nurture strong key client relationships.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Computer literate.
