Operations Agent

IMMEDIATE START


The Operations Agent acts as the face of the Service Centre, responsible for providing excellent customer service both internally and externally.

You are responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day Customer Facing activities and to ensure that all internal and external visitors to the Service Centre are handled in the appropriate manner.

Ensure you provide the best possible customer service no matter the behavior of the customer.

  • Wwork under time pressures to ensure that your workload is complete
  • Improving and maintaining your goals and coming up with new ideas and suggestions to ensure these are met

Activities & Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational tasks, necessary to ensure the correct functioning of the Service Centre
  • Respond to all queries in accordance with company standards. (GSOP)
  • Process all incoming and outgoing shipments in line with compliance procedures
  • Scan/process shipments
  • Deal with all internal and external customers visiting the Service Centre in a professional manner.
  • Responding to Problem Pieces and ensure redistribution is arranged
  • Use computer systems with numerous
  • Adhere to legislation including Health and Safety, Working Time Directive regulations etc
  • Act as Service Centre receptionist when necessary
  • Adhere to customs / import / export procedures

Job Types:
Temp to perm, Permanent, Part-time

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
£11.78 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • IV1 1SN: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Language:


  • English (preferred)
