Job Overview:
At ABC Housing we are currently expanding and are looking for a a Responsible Individual for a new Ofsted Children's Home opening in Slough

The home is set to be a 2 bed children's home specialising in Emotional Behavioural Difficulties and mild Learning Disabilities for Young people aged yrs.

This is a one day a week role offering a flexible schedule.


Summary of Responsibilities:

• Support the Registered Manager in preparation for the opening of the Children's Home, OFSTED registration, inspections, subsequent action planning, and operation.
• Support the management of the service; ensuring the service is safe, wellrun, and compliant with all regulations.
• The Responsible Individual will be designated lead for safeguarding.
• Provide management support and professional supervision to the Registered Manager.
• Act on and/or delegate actions or recommendations from any OFSTED inspections, reviews and ensure that all outcomes are completed.
• Liaise with Ofsted and other relevant bodies regarding notification of significant events under regulatory requirements and ensure the prompt action and distribution of paperwork and procedures about accidents, incidents, and notifiable events to relevant parties.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Responsible Individual within a residential home for children
• Educated to Degree Level
• Good" or "Outstanding" grade within recent Ofsted Inspections.

Pay:
£300.00-£400.00 per day
