Employ-Ability is an Essex based charity committed to championing good mental health in the workplace.

Employ-Ability works with Essex Partnership University Foundation Trust (EPUT) to deliver an Essex wide Employment support (IPS) and Employment Retention Support and with Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust (NSFT) to deliver a West Suffolk, Ipswich and East Suffolk Service.


We have been successful in expanding our current IPS Service from secondary mental health into Primary Care services including physical and sensory impairments.

In order to deliver on this, we are seeking to recruit a Business Performance Officer to assist in the administration and support to the delivery of this piece of work.

Role:
Business Performance Officer


Hours: 22.5 Hours per week


Band/Salary:
£16,342 - £18,548 Starting salary at initial grade point, reviewed at 6 months


Contract:
Fixed Term Contract till March 2025 with the expectation that the role will develop into a permanent position

Responsible to:
Head of Service


Job Summary


To work with the Head of Service Manager and key stakeholders to ensure the effective service data capture and monitoring, in order to produce accurate service key performance information.

To support the Charity to undertake monitoring compliance and performance requirements to support the achievement of excellent outcomes to include contractual agreements as well as any other administrative duties deemed necessary to support the service.


Key Responsibilities

  • To support the delivery of effective service delivery, linked to the business and service performance.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of Employment Services overall performance against target thresholds.
  • To support the Head of Service to monitor and manage the targets linked to Employment Services as and when required.
  • To analyse and utilise statistics and information to support planning and decisionmaking.
  • To ensure appropriate information and data gathering systems are in place and revising reporting templates where necessary.
  • To undertake any administrative tasks that may be required.

Performance Management

  • To analyse and interpret employment related information derived from the individual team reports and clinical systems to support the business decision making processes, with particular emphasis in highlighting any identified risks to the service or associated deficits.
  • To maintain a highlevel understanding of the range of data sources, populating employment services key performance indicators, and understanding data quality issues within the data.
  • To work closely with the partners to ensure the availability of robust data to inform effective service provision.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of effective performance measurement, management and improvement systems and processes in employment services, ensuring that these are supported by high quality data analysis and reporting.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate information systems to support project and performance management programs.
