Senior Electronics Engineer

Permanent Position

Rapidly growing company

Our client are a rapidly growing company, at the pre-production phase of their products. They are developing these products for a highly anticipated wave of EV superchargers. They are looking for creative, experience and dynamic electronics engineer to jointhe team.

They are a small team, looking for an engineer who is happy to get stuck in and help across various teams and products, resolving issues as they arise.

Senior Electronics Engineer

Responsibilities and experience:

Design and optimize powerelectronics controller design.
Lead prototype builds and provide electronic support for system test and integration.
Collaborate with teams to help generate a specification for each design.
Identify engineering problems and take initiative to generate solutions through a methodical and structured approach, providing technical guidance to others as required.
Proactive support to DfX and support the PCB layout process.
Promote consistent working practices.
Good familiarity with PCB/PCBA manufacturing processes

Nice to have experience:

Experienced working with STM MCU's.
Good understanding of control theory
Knowledge in powerelectronics is highly desirable
Working knowledge of relevant PCB standards and Assembly guidelines.
Previous experience with layout of mixed analogue and digital designs, high speed buses, SMPS, impedancecontrolled traces, and power traces (I.e Powertrain, Batteries, BMS, SMPS) is an added advantage.
Knowledge in EMC best layout practise for EMC compliance is desirable.
