Job Summary:
The County Classics Cafe is found in the County Classics Car Museum in the heart of Taunton,

Cafe opening hours are Tuesday to
Saturday
09. 00 to 16.30 and
Sundays
10.00 to 15.30
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall dining experience of our customers.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and portion control guidelines
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards, correct labelling, stored /and storage
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service
Maintain a high level of cleanliness, hygiene and organization of the kitchen area
Monitor food stock levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Assist with meal preparation as needed
Operate the till which training will be given
Full running of the Kitchen when the Chef is off
Able to make coffee, tea and serve to customers at the table
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a restaurant or food service establishment
Indepth knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
Familiarity with food safety regulations
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Must have previous experience minimum of 2 years
