We Are Hiring

We are looking for an IT Assistant to join our IT team and provide assistance with the daily operations of the department, including management of relevant finances, issues and staff, ensuring that all IT systems are running smoothly. The role involvesfrequent communication and coordination with business users in other departments and vendors.
***As a IT Assistant you will be responsible for the following:
Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of staff members with vendors and other departments to ensure appropriate credentials are applied or removed accordingly. As well as providing guidance to new staff as required.
  • Provide assistance with the daily operations of the department, including management of relevant finances, issues and staff, ensuring that all IT systems are running smoothly.
  • Manage and monitor business users' issues from incident management to problem resolution, providing direct technical assistance and support when necessary.
  • Coordinate with vendors to address required remediation actions to overcome any potential vulnerabilities or issues found within the organization's IT infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain business, technology, and information system architecture documentation, including procedures, policies, and training manuals.
  • Manage and maintain IT inventory, including hardware and software licenses.
  • Assist in managing the IT budget, including tracking expenses and forecasting future costs.
  • Coordinate with the finance department regarding ITrelated invoicing and generate relevant purchase orders.
  • Frequent communication and coordination with business users on other departments and vendors.
  • Assist in the development and execution of IT projects, including planning, testing, and deployment in collaboration with other departments to ensure it accommodates business needs.
  • Produce relevant progress updates and attend relevant meetings to discuss with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that IT systems meet business needs and requirements.

Requirements:


  • Some experience in IT support or relevant field.
  • Some experience in project management and change management.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of IT systems, including hardware, software, and networking.
  • Proficiency with Windows operating system, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (including Microsoft 365).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business users, stakeholders, and technical staff.
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team and manage multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Some familiarity with IT security best practices and regulations.

  • Must have grade C or above in GCSE Maths & English Grade
  • Further education is desirable
  • Microsoft Office 365 skills
  • Strong attention to detail
