Job Overview

The main duty of the Sales Administrator is to call customers to get a status and update on all issued quotations and to keep regular contact with customers to ascertain satisfaction levels and planned future work.


The key function of this role is to maximise conversion of quotations and to gather intelligence on pricing and current market influences, customer service levels and to cross-sell our services to customers.


Working closely with our estimating team you will follow up issued quotations and record customer interactions and updates on the company CRM.

Likewise, you will be working alongside our scheduling team to ensure customers' jobs are scheduled to customers' requirements and to assist the scheduling team in filling any gaps in our schedule with work.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Calling all customers with open quotations to maximise conversion to orders.
  • Use the company CRM to record the current quotation status of all quotations and to close quotations when lost or expired.
  • Crosssell additional company services to customers.
  • Advise Estimators of the status of quotations and any customer feedback received.
  • Assist Estimators to ensure customer orders are in line with quotation specifications.
  • Liaise with the scheduling team to plan customer work and fill gaps in schedules.
  • Call customers to ascertain their level of satisfaction and enquire when future work is planned.
  • To undertake any other ad hoc duties which are consistent with the post

Person specification

  • Previous experience in a customercalling role is essential.
  • High level of customer service skills.
  • Excellent telephone skills and persuasive manner.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Previous experience in handling customer objections would be advantageous.
  • Highly organised.
  • Resultsdriven with a professional approach and a 'can do' attitude.
  • Proficient in MS Office 36
  • Ability to produce timely and highquality reports.
  • Flexible and responsive to change.
  • Selfmotivated, confident and calm under pressure.

Salary:
£20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • HAVANT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Sales administration: 1 year (preferred)
