We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join the team to help the business keep growing, located in Lancashire with a comfortable 4-day work week. No matter your experience level, feel free to apply.

The Role

The Quality Inspector is accountable for ensuring that parts and processes meet all customer, third-party, and regulatory standards, as well as supporting the strategies and goals established by the Quality department.

Responsibilities include:

Perform first off, FAIRS, and batch inspections daily.
Segregate and report all nonconforming work to MRB via the NCR process.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation and equipment calibration.
Assist in resolving technical disputes with other department managers and operators.
Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001: 2008 & AS9100 standards and customer approvals.
Identify continuous improvement techniques for department/business objectives.
Support system improvement projects to uphold product flow and best practices.
Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental best practices.
Perform any other assigned duties that match the role level.

The Person

The ideal Quality Inspector will have experience in a precision manufacturing setting using various hand metrology equipment proficiently.

You should be able to comprehend engineering drawings and have a wide knowledge of manufacturing methods, quality systems, and related documentation.

The successful candidate should be well-versed in AS9100 and ISO9001 quality standards and capable of accurately updating MRP/ERP systems at an inspection level. Familiarity with Epicor, SAP, or Sage is a plus.
