Purchaser / Buyer Position Overview- Meet current and potential suppliers over prices and account status
- Receive quotes for current & new suppliers from BOM's.
- Submit price presentation in a budget meeting.
- Present supplier delivery date report for Production Manager.
- Organise Transport for UK & overseas projects
- Submit overseas documents, (Commercial Invoice & Delivery Notes)
- Control goods in & supply stillage information.
- Control quality of purchased items
- Record Supplier performance report
- Experience in a similar role
- Salary dependent on experience
