SME Finance Manager | Nottingham | Flexible Hours_


Looking for an all-round role in a small to medium sized business? This is a great chance to mentor and develop a small team while having plenty of breadth to your own role - covering management accounting, analysis and financial control.


The role will predominantly office based (close to City Hospital in Nottingham) with flexibility to start earlier or later if you need to balance home and office commitments.

It's a c£30 million turnover organisation with a team of seven in finance.

Reporting directly to the CFO, your role will include:


  • Full preparation of the management accounts and board packs; providing analysis and commentary on results
  • Management, development and training of a team of four people
  • Budgeting and forecasting with analysis into variances
  • Work with the data analysis team to prepare insightful MI to allow the business to make informed commercial decisions
  • Financial accounting (balance sheet recs, oversee transactional finance, yearend accounting)

ABOUT YOU

  • CIMA/ACA/ACCA Qualified
  • Experience in a similar role with team management experience
