We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Glass Operative ( Glass cutter ) to start immediately at manufacturing facility based in Bradford, BD4 area.


The role requires the following responsibilities and duties:

  • Manual & machine cutting of glass using an automatic glass cutting table
  • Toughening of flat glass
  • Glass crane operating (full training will be provided)
  • Use of manual hand tools
  • Lifting heavy glass products
  • Previous experience working with glass is essential, however full training can be provided
  • Ability of glass handling as well as manual and automatic glass cutting
  • Strong awareness of Health and Safety and ability to adhere to all practices
  • Must be reliable and willing learn
  • Work well within a team
  • Must be physically fit due to the nature of the role
**Glass handling is a big part of this role and some of the products can be particularly heavy so please bear this in mind when applying.


Shifts - 6AM-2PM & 2-10PM ROTATING WEEKLY

Pay Rates:

£12.52
Basic pay

DRUG & ALCOHOL TEST WILL BE REQUIRED BY THE CLIENT BEFORE BEEN ACCEPTED FOR THE ROLE

Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm


Salary:
£12.52 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bradford BD4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Manual handling: 1 year (preferred)
- glass handling: 1 year (preferred)
