About the role

As a driver, you will be responsible for the safe transport of staff around the various locations the BEP DT project undertakes business in West Cumbria.

You in many cases are the face of the project being the first contact for visitor's new starters and senior staff therefore, you should have impeccable standards of behaviour and a positive attitude.

What you'll be doing

You will be part of a team responsible for transporting people to and from the various sites in West Cumbria to C1003 and site where the BEPDT is undertaken.
You need to be a good communicator and have a good knowledge of the site layout and locality.
It is important you can stick to a timetable and organise your movements.
Checking your vehicle in accordance with BB procedures identifying defects and sourcing repairs through procurement.
You will be concerned in the collection of visitors and contractors for other departments acting as an escort.
You will have a clean driving licence and a safety conscience forward thinking approach always following road traffic legislation.
In the absence of driving duties, you will assist the facilities team with duties around C100
You will report to the Facilities Site Manager/Coordinator.

Who we're looking for

Full clean driving licence.
Willing to undertake training to achieve driving standard for PCV 16 seater if not already done.
High standards of professional behaviour.
Physically fit.
Understanding of driving time and statutory requirement.
Good communication skills.

Ability to obtain P4 pass and SC Clearance
