We are a Complex Needs School of 160 pupils, with moderate, severe or profound learning difficulties between the ages of 3 to 19.

All pupils have different learning needs; they learn best when they are happy and excited about learning.

We need to expand our team of Site Staff and are looking for a Property Maintenance Apprentice with a commitment to develop their skills in this field and complete a Level 2 qualification in Property Maintenance.

You will need to work closely and effectively with the site and admin team and some aspects of your role may include repair and creative practical design to support our classes and pupils with direction from the Premises Manager.

You need to have energy, drive and work diligently with a degree of independence, conscientious approach and a good eye for detail to ensure the school site remains well ordered, safe and in immaculate condition.

You will need to be a team player, calm, patient, working knowledge of basic ICT. You will work closely with your Premises Team; full training, induction and mentoring will be offered.

This post is temporary for 12 months to enable completion of the Level 2 Property Maintenance apprenticeship training (includes 25 days annual leave by negotiation with the Site Team).
