Description

The Streetworks Coordinator's key role is to monitor all work order requirements through the effective delivery of company processes for all lines of business.

This includes client and field operations liaison, providing input into street works compliance, improved performance in relation to Section 74, Fixed Penalty Notice.

What will your key responsibilities be?

  • Arrange for Streetworks Permits as required and in accordance with procedures.
  • Ensure Traffic Management Plans are available in accordance with procedures.
  • As Streetworks Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with the management and administration of permitting. This will involve the monitoring and coordination of Streetworks activities
  • Working closely with local authorities, you will be responsible for opening and closing permits using Streetworks systems whilst ensuring that all aspects of the TMA (Traffic Management Act) are met. Respond to Highways comments, PMR and manage active permits to prevent any Fixed Penalty Notices and Overrun charges.
  • Assist with daytoday operational aspects of the project and scope.
  • Monitor and identify street works compliance, performance risk in relation to Section 74, Fixed Penalty Notice.
  • Lead on all aspects of Streetworks coordination providing clear understanding of all Permits.
  • Implementation of change and alignment to department and business strategy
  • Effective control of the processes, resources and data concerned with Highways authority. Control successful delivery of time bound SLA's.
  • Liaise with Subcontractors on effective updates of all permitting matters.

_Desired experience in the use of Streetwork permitting systems and scheduling high volume utility works_

_Desired good knowledge of the New Roads and Streetworks (NRSWA) and Traffic Management Act (TMA)_
- **_You should be proficient in Microsoft packages and be a good communicator_
