Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Newcastle.


We offer a wide-ranging curriculum to our Further Education students, including Arboriculture, Horticulture, Agriculture, Animal Management, Countryside and the Environment, Engineering, Equine, Floristry, Motorsport, Professional Tree Surgery, Outdoor Adventure Sport, Sports Development, Coaching and Fitness and Uniformed Public Services.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Placement Officer in Veterinary Nursing with experience of veterinary nursing training and education to join our Veterinary Nursing Department/Team here at our York campus.

This role will be working 18.5hrs hours per week on a permanent basis.

We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for visiting Training Practices for Veterinary Nursing students. Sector experience and knowledge specifically in veterinary nursing will be essential.

With excellent knowledge of the training and education of veterinary nurses, you will have experience of supporting these students either in an educational setting, or clinical environment
