Our client a true market leader in their field is looking for a qualified solicitor specialising within employment law to join their office-based team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Solicitor, to working in a team providing HR guidance,Employment law and commercial advice to their client base.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • To provide clients with legally compliant and commercial advice to clients predominantly on Settlement Agreements, Commercial Queries, Data Protection, Gross Misconduct, SOSR, TUPE, Grievances Alleging Discrimination, Multiple Redundancies and Absence Management.
  • Ensure that personal knowledge of HR and Employment Law is continually updated.
  • Achieve eight measured set performance aims to support all clients with quality advice in a productive manner within set SLAs to provide an efficient and ideally first call resolution. This will be predominately call advice and adjusted accordingly by yourcaseload whilst being available for the clients.
  • To actively own and lead cases to resolution, building rapport and relationships with clients on each interaction.
  • To log all advice accurately onto the bespoke internal system, taking ownership and responsibility for ongoing cases.
  • To provide clients with bespoke supporting information/documentation to assist them in implementing the solutions and advice provided.
  • Review client documentation and provide advice accordingly taking their applicable internal terms and conditions into account in each case.
  • Refer to Company internal training and legal updates to ensure that advice provided is compliant with our services.
  • To undertake and report on client visits as required by the Advice Service Managers.
  • Follow internal protocols for managing and escalating cases and for handovers of cases during periods of absence where applicable and ensure full communication and smooth transition when transferring cases to other specialist teams.
  • Clear and prompt communication regarding cases to other specialist teams where applicable for ease of transition.
  • Assisting the Team Leader with any areas of client dissatisfaction
  • Carry out other tasks that are deemed necessary by the Management Team.
  • To offer the clients options regarding subscription to other products and services we provide and make such introductions accordingly.

Person Specification

  • Must be a qualified solicitor
  • Excellent communication, oral and negotiation skills.
  • A "cando" attitude, a thirst for knowledge and the ability to communicate knowledge effectively within the team.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • A dynamic and flexible approach, as well as the ability to work under pressure.
  • Pride in delivering a highquality service and genuine desire to own, lead and resolve issues for clients by providing efficient, pragmatic solutions.
