About the role:


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Work Placement Officer (Digital) who is passionate about Digital technology and the digital sector, to work within the faculty of Creative, Digital and Computing alongside the other faculty Skills Development Coaches.

This post will ensure every day you are doing something new and exciting, supporting our students in and out, of the classroom, with the skills needed to gain work experience and support our T Level students on their large placements.

When in the classroom you will be delivering coaching sessions that are innovative and creative to engage learners to develop skills and behaviours associated with the work place.

The Digital curriculum is made up of courses within Computing, Games, VFX, Animation and Esports.


About you:


We are looking for an ambitious individual with a real passion for developing the technical and employability skills of our students across all our Digital courses.

The post holder will work closely with curriculum teachers, who are enthusiastic and supportive, to ensure that our students have outstanding learning opportunities and are work ready as well as networking, meeting and talking to employers from across the region.


This is an ideal opportunity for those with industry knowledge, passion and/or experience who can support learners through planning and delivering innovative individual and group led activities as well as through significant and meaningful employer related activity.
