Description

Deva Recruitment are looking for a Transport Planner for a Well known Transport Company in the B98 area.

Flexitime from 7/8am starts

Temp to Perm after 8 weeks

Salary £14ph Inclusive of Holiday Pay whilst with the agency Salary once completed £27K to 31K

Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate transportation routes for efficient delivery of goods
Analyze shipment requirements and determine appropriate modes of transportation
Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery
Monitor and track shipments to ensure ontime delivery and resolve any issues that may arise
Optimize transportation costs while maintaining high service levels
Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and documentation

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience as a transport planner or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices
Proficient in using transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software
Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis

Salary:
£27,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
