It is also a member of the Net Zero Asset Manager's Initiative, a certified CarbonNeutral company* and is a TCFD supporter.

Job Purpose


As an Intern you will report to InfraRed's Head of Sustainability, who is responsible for the development and implementation of the sustainability strategy for InfraRed and the funds under management.

You will support the Head of Sustainability to deliver the sustainability programme to maintain InfraRed in a "best-in-class" position in respect to sustainable investment and corporate practices.

In particular, the role will be focussed on data management to enable InfraRed to enhance its ESG reporting to its investors and other stakeholders.

To achieve this, you will be responsible for co-ordinating a variety of initiatives, working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

InfraRed has been a signatory ot the Principles of Responsible Investment since 2011 and has achieve the highest possible PRI rating for the its infrastructure business for seven consecutive assessments, having secured a 5 stars rating for the 2021 period.

It is also a member of the Net Zero Asset Manager's Initiative, a certified CarbonNeutral company, and is a TCFD Supporter.


_Please note _this role is offered as a 8-12 week long temporary assignment commencing sometime in January 2023. Due to nature of the role we are unable to offer visa sponsorship.

Key Job Responsibilities

_Data Management and Reporting _

  • Analyse sustainability data to support regulatory, investor and corporate disclosures.
  • Analyse sustainability data to identify areas for improvement and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Estimate GHG emissions associated with InfraRed's portfolio and its corporate activities.
  • Support the development and drafting of InfraRed's annual Sustainability Report.
  • Contribute to the sustainability reporting and disclosures made by the listed and unlisted funds managed by InfraRed.
  • Support the Investor Relations team to respond to routine and adhoc investor queries related to sustainability.

_Communications _

  • Present to internal and external stakeholders on sustainability matters including on ESG performance, best practices and upcoming sustainability themes.

_Corporate Initiatives _

  • Support the Sustainability Team to deliver the key workstreams of the sustainability programme.
  • Support efforts to ensure that InfraRed and its funds under management comply with necessary regulatory or statutory requirements related to sustainability.
  • Project manage the preparation of InfraRed's sustainability accreditations submissions such as the Principles for Responsible Investment ("PRI").
  • Contribute to making InfraRed's approach to sustainability to be bestinclass by conducting competitor and market research and proactively suggesting ways to improve our sustainability programme; and
  • Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (investors, clients, and project management companies).

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous work experience within the ESG/sustainability, infrastructure, investment sector is highly beneficial.
  • A collaborative, diligent, and selfmotivated individual who can deliver highquality work in a well thoughtout and structured way.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong written and visual communications skills. Demonstrates creativity and very high attention to detail.
