Please see attached Job Description and Person Specification for full details of what this role entails The Cardiology service is a busy and proactive team, supported by 16 Consultants, with individual abilities that form the team we are, from front door primary care through to rehab, we offer a large cover of this specialism.

We have cross site diagnostic department, acute heart failure Cardiac rehab team in our patch as well as two 32 inpatient beds, a cardiac Day case unit and 2 Cardiology Catheter labs.

The department is looking to develop our current service, both as part of our planned move to MMUH, where we will be together in 1 acute area, but also to ensure we have continued capacity for the increasing number of Cardiac patients in the local area we serve.

The ACP roles are part of our development and we believe will greatly enhance the care of our patients.
