Join an award-winning Manchester-based law firm specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence claims. Seeking an Advocacy Clerk with exceptional organisational skills to handle diary management, departmental reporting, and administrative tasks. Previous legal environment experience as a Personal Assistant or clerking at Chambers is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming communications for the Advocacy department.
- Organise barristers/advocates' workload and ensure timely preparation for hearings.
- Act as a liaison between fee earners and the Advocacy department.
- Assist the Head of Advocacy (Partner) when required.
- Work to strict deadlines, handle audiotyping, and word processing.
- Provide support to the administration team and maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrate legal knowledge, computer literacy, and excellent communication skills
