The Role
As a Technical Support Agent, you will play a crucial role in our operational team by providing exceptional technical assistance on e-commerce projects.
You will primarily work with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, leveraging your expertise to complete custom integrations, along with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and configuration problems.
Your strong communication skills and technical knowledge will contribute to the satisfaction and success of our customers by providing exceptional technical assistance.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients in configuring and customising their ecommerce solution using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, addressing their unique business requirements.
- Analyse and understand client needs, troubleshoot technical issues related to our ecommerce platform, and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including developers and project managers, to ensure prompt and effective implementations and resolutions.
- Guide customers through software integrations, upgrades, and migrations, ensuring a smooth transition and mínimal disruption to their ecommerce operations.
- Proactively identify and escalate technical issues that require additional expertise or engineering intervention to the appropriate teams.
- Manage and use internal and external APIs to integrate with Shopblocks platform
- Liaise with the development team to raise feature requests from merchants.
- Raise system bugs with the Development Team, assess urgency levels, and communicate resolution timescales to merchants.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, with the ability to write, debug, and modify code as necessary.
- Previous experience in a technical support role, preferably within an ecommerce environment.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical customers.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Customerfocused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
