Are you from a hospitality/hotel background and looking to get into event planning? Do you have some experience of events and functions but want to learn more under an experienced team? Our Cambridge based client is looking for a Events and Marketing Assistantto join their recently refurbished hotel.

You'll be supporting the team on planning events, bringing your knowledge of hospitality, especially in hotels to how you can effectively run events and functions, such as weddings or conferences.

Supporting the Events Manager, you'll help coordinate acrossthe business, chasing pre-orders for functions and supporting the chef with creating attractive menu designs.

You'll use your people skills and knowledge of the sector to coordinate with bookings over the phone while monitoring the events inbox and answeringcustomer queries.
