St Oswalds Retirement Village, part of the
Extra Care Charitable Trust, are recruiting now for a
Care and Support Worker to work nights on a Permanent contract.


This is an exciting time to be joining the friendly and supportive team at
St Oswalds. You will play a major part in providing the domiciliary care serviceto our residents and promoting Independent Living to the over 55's.


This is domiciliary care with a difference. Everything is in one location meaning no travelling between jobs

As a
Care and Support Worker, you will be expected to carry out the following tasks:

  • Provide all aspects of domiciliary care to our residents including both physical, personal care and support with social activities,
  • Promoting and supporting the physical, emotional and wellbeing of our residents
  • Encourage independence and selfbelief
  • Ensure records and documents are completed in line with our policy.

Person Specification

  • Hold a care certificate or willing to undertake a care qualification
  • Personable, an effective communicator and a team player
  • Passionate about delivering a quality care service
  • Flexible with hours.
