About the Role and Person

  • Ability to Deliver on DeadlinesWe have an exciting opportunity for a Repairs Reporting Coordinator to join our growing Property Services team Your core role and focus is to ensure budgetary control processes are in place for all work streams and all associated systems reconcile. Your role will undertake critical analysis of spend patterns and provide this insight to internal customers to manage service delivery. We want our people and our customers to be proud of the homes we provide and you have a key part to play in this.
Whilst we have key responsibilities and these can be found in the job description, there are certain things we will need from you:

  • Excellent budgetary control and account management skills
  • Proven work experience as an analyst officer or similar role
  • Proven experience in a repairs contract management environment
  • Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to understand, integrate and manipulate data and present accurate information, clearly and concisely in reports or dashboards
  • Exceptional communicational, organisational and prioritisation skills at all levels
  • Ability to work with teams across the business, in helping teams to understand and interpret critical information for use in decision making and service delivery
  • Understanding of payment processes and ability to assist contractors with invoicing management.
  • Ability to reconcile orders against invoices received and challenge any discrepancies
  • Skills to carry out regular audit checks throughout the department on all transactions undertaken within the data base
  • Excellent level of accounting principles knowledge / understanding
  • Knowledge of housing management systems

Location
You'll be required to live in commutable distance from our Peterborough office. This is a Hybrid Role, 3 days based in office.


When working from home we'll provide you with the equipment and software that you'll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility to have an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.


Salary


The spot salary for this post is £27,844 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post.

Applicants, who do not meet all of the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
