A UK leading Commercial Grounds Maintenance company are looking to recruit a site operative to work on a full time permanent basis.

Based at their depot in South Birmingham (Kings Norton) applicants will be required to service Commercial Grounds Maintenance contracts with a range of different task and scheduled works on a variety sites in and around the West Midlands.

Salary starts from the real living wage of £10.90 per hour.

Applicants will need to be organised and capable manual tasks, no experience necessary, training given, own transport maybe necessary to get to base.

Working as part of a team - applicants will need to complete all duties given to mandatory quality standards. Willing to work overtime in the growing season/summertime.

Duties include:

Mow, edge and fertilise lawns
Weed and mulch landscapes
Trim hedges, shrubs and small trees
Plant flowers, trees and shrubs
Litter pick
Winter services gritting and snow clearance
PA1 and PA6 NPTC spraying licence
First Aid certificate

The hours are full time Monday to Friday, however overtime will be available in the busy periods.

The opportunity to develop and progress within the company will be available once a probationary period is completed.

Salary:
£22,672.00-£23,400.00 per year
