This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement in which you can work part-time at the Company location identified above and part-time remotely from your home.

Explore the flexibility and challenge that working for Cepheid can provide.The HRBP UK & Iberia (Spain & Portugal) provides HR partnership to the country leaders and works closely together with EMEA HRBP's on HR projects, depending on future allocation of countries there should be flexibility to provide country HRBP support to other countries due to business needs (while UK remaining the core country to support). She/he develops and implements HR initiatives focused on achieving business objectives.
This position is
hands-on and tactical to provide human resources expertise in the areas of employee relations, change management, performance management, employee retention, coaching/development, conflict management, workforce planning in a context of a multinational diagnostics company.
This position is part of the HR EMEA department and will be
located in UK (High Wycombe Buckinghamshire),
on an Hybrid mode_.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Deploys global, EMEA and country Cepheid
HR strategies, policies, and processes. - Actively
lead and drive change initiatives and provide direct
HR support and advice as required for initiatives such as consolidations, restructuring and acquisitions. - Compliance with
all local legal requirements and develop and
maintain good working relationships with statutory bodies
Anticipate the need for change and
influence change proactively. Consciously strive to build networks of support for change goals and objectives.
- Deliver
competitive compensation and benefits plans to ensure Cepheid can attract and retain people whilst driving high performance - Supports the
delivery of effective HR services from HR Operations and HR Centers of Excellence as well as external service providers
The essential requirements of the job include

Broad experience in HR, especially several years of HRBP experience with strong strategic and tactical experience

Regional HR experience, (UK HRBP experience is required, Spain or other countries is a plus)
- Experience with
supporting/partnering midlevel managers and above - Strong knowledge and experience with
managing change and labor relations (i.e. works council negotiations in France). - Working in a
US based multinational matrixorganization, fluent in English (Spanish is a plus) - Flexibility to
travel up to 15%
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Working in a fast-paced commercial environment, outstanding organizational and structured skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks and actions
- Ability to work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
- Profound knowledge of MS Office tools and HR ERP systems, e.g. Workday
