IT Support Officer - JOB DESCRIPTION
Air X Jet Support Ltd. is an EASA Part-145 maintenance company.
Our engineering capabilities cover the full spectrum of services, from minor check and inspections to heavy maintenance, as well as offering rapid response AOG coverage across the UK and Europe.
Our EASA Part 145 approvals endorse a large selection of business aviation jets for Line and Base maintenance including engine and avionic works for a wide variety of aircraft types as well as components.
Due to our continuous growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a IT Support Officer to join Air X Jet Support located in Stansted, UK.
What will you do:
- Provide end user IT support for matters related to the client's desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, desk phones, mobile devices, and any other equipment.
- Respond to queries and follow up with users to ensure issues have been resolved.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware, software and peripherals.
- Assist with basic network configurations and maintenance:
- Local Area Networks (Patching, Cable Management, Connecting & Setting equipment.)
- Wireless Networks (Connecting Access Points, Setting up Wi-Fi).
- Manage IT Asset inventory.
- Assist in IT Procurement process.
- Setting and configuring end user devices in accordance with the IT security policies.
- Accurately record all information into the ticketing system.
- Identify and escalate tickets to the senior members of the team when required.
- Provide and maintain accurate documentation.
What you will bring to the role:
Experience in:
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows Operating Systems.
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Software & Applications.
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Printers.
- Maintaining Computers/Laptops, mobile devices (Hardware and Software).
- Configuring, and troubleshooting iOS devices (iPhones/iPads).
- Configuring and troubleshooting Android devices (Smartphones/Tablets).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Technologies (Office 365, Active Directory, Access Rights).
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
- Be a team player and with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team.

£20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
