Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to a family member in their home environment. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for the family member by delivering personalised care with professionalism and empathy. Prior experience in senior care, dementia care, or Alzheimer's care is highly desirable.

Duties

• Assist client on walks
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
• Support clients with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Engage clients in meaningful activities and social interactions to promote mental well-being
• Monitor and report changes in health status or behaviour to healthcare professionals or family members
• Provide specialised care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's, including behaviour management strategies
• Support patients with medical procedures under supervision, including basic nursing tasks and first aid when necessary
• Drive clients to appointments or errands as required, ensuring safe transportation practices
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and update care plans accordingly

Skills

• Proven experience in senior care, dementia or Alzheimer's care, or home care environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage empathetically with clients and their families
• Capable of heavy lifting and assisting with mobility support when required
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driving licence is advantageous for transportation duties
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others

Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm, Freelance, Zero hours contract
