Cable Lay Supervisor - Offshore Wind - Contract - Bristol

We have a fantastic contract opportunity for a Cable Lay Supervisor to join our client in their Southwest UK.

A world leader in the highly specialised fields of dredging and solutions for the offshore energy market, this client brings innovation and cutting-edge technology to their offshore projects across the world.

Cable Lay Supervisor Responsibilities:

Make sure all cable related operations are done in the most safe and optimal way
Lead a team of 10 to 15 members (foremen and operators)
Hold the shift handover meetings with the team onboard
Liaise with colleagues on the bridge and surveyors for an optimal cable operation
Run and supervise all operations on the back-deck. This includes the operability of the Cable, installation System (CIS), ROVs, cranes and other equipment on board
make sure works are performed with the highest level of safety

About you:

5 + years' experience as Superintendent
5 + years' experience with Cable Laying projects
Full GWO
HUET with EBS
NOGEPA or OGUK (Offshore Medical examination)
Chepter Step test
XBR for helicopter transfer (Shoulder measures)
