The company was acquired by Cenergist Limited in 2022 whose endeavour is to continue the success and growth of the business.
The role can be based in Knottingley or Washington, Tyne and Wear.Due to the nature of our work this role would involve regular travel around the UK and regular overnight stays.
For this role all prospective employees are required to undertake an DBS Check which would be reimbursed by the company once they have started.

OPPORTUNITY PROFILE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Supervisor to join our team.
The Production Supervisor will ensure that our manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently, aligning with business objectives and customer requirements.
Overseeing the manufacturing and delivery process of Underfloor Heating mats for various projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on scheduleKEY TASKS
- Overseeing the production process, drafting a production schedule and ensuring it is adhered to.
- Supervise staff to produce manufactured products and organise and monitor workflow.
- Accomplish manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain workflow by monitoring and upgrading processes, monitoring personnel and resources, studying methods, implementing cost reductions, developing reporting procedures and systems.
- Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results.
- Maintain a quality service by establishing and enforcing production standards and ensure the quality of the mats being produced meet the required standards.
- Monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programs.
- Research and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to improve efficiency of processes and reduce unnecessary costs.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of equipment, and resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Manage a small team of trainee installers/manufacturing team.
- Ensure production processes run smoothly and efficiently.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
ABOUT YOU
- Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
- Supervisory experience
- Process improvement
- Quality control
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality control techniques.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyse and improve production processes for maximum efficiency.
- Proficient in inventory management and stock control.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
