Almero Student currently has a job opening for a Maintenance Operative at Madison Gardens and HMO Properties in Nottingham. If you're good with fixing stuff and ensuring everything is up to scratch, this might be the gig for you!

In this role, you'll be in charge of planned and reactive maintenance at the property. Your main goal? Keeping everything in top shape and making sure all regulations are met. Being able to handle tasks independently is key, as well as being a pro at communicating with a variety of people, from suppliers to contractors.

Your main focus will be on providing top-notch service when it comes to fixing faults and maintaining the property in tip-top condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To prioritize and oversee all maintenance tasks efficiently.
  • To assist in planning statutory and routine maintenance.
  • To respond to maintenance issues promptly and keep everyone in the loop.
  • To conduct repairs as directed.
  • To ensure all work meets quality standards and agreements.
  • To coordinate external assistance when needed.
  • To manage contractor attendance and permits.
  • To handle various maintenance tasks efficiently.
  • To assist with property safety measures and emergency protocols.
  • To promote energy efficiency and recycling practices.
  • To maintain accurate records and operate computer systems.
  • To be familiar with security and safety equipment on site.
  • To provide support during incidents or emergencies.
  • To follow property procedures and safety guidelines.
  • To assist with events and student activities.
  • To monitor student welfare and report any concerns.
