In this exciting new role, you'll be providing a housekeeping service that is non-intrusive and aids in the comfort and recovery of all clients.

Main duties of the Housekeeper:

The post holder will be required to carry out cleaning, bed making and laundry duties
Establish and follow effective work schedules in conjunction with admissions and departures from the clinic
Perform duties using the correct method, equipment and materials for the task
Ensure your own personal safety as well as that of other members of staff, service users and public by following Health and Safety procedures
Follow the department COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) policies and procedures
Adhere to Infection prevention and control policies, procedures and best practice as specified by the Health and Safety legislation and organisational policy and procedure
Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are stored and used safely according to Health & Safety, organisational policies and procedures. Complete all daily, weekly or monthly records and file these accordingly
Complete and update all mandatory training programmes
Ensure an acceptable level of personal conduct and adhere to organisational policies
Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required by the Line Manager and/or the Senior Management Team or Directors
