Edinburgh or Glasgow

Permanent, full-time

Up to £50,000 DOE

Meraki Talent is working with a well-known legal firm to appoint a Proposals Manager to their team.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering a salary of up to £50,000 depending on experience and can be based in either the Edinburgh or Glasgow office.


The purpose of the Proposals Manager is to manage the overall performance, skills development and proposal submissions that align with the company's vision and provide the best opportunities for success.


The proposal manager will manage and lead internal clients through bid response, manage the allocation of work within the proposals team and coordinate input from internal clients and support functions across the firm.


Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Developing and maintaining the proposal response plan

Scheduling and running proposal kick-off meetings

Leading response planning sessions

Developing persuasive first-draft answers and responses

Coaching legal teams who are invited to interview and present the following proposal submission

Work closely with the Head of Proposals and appropriate partners

Engage regularly with internal clients

Mentor, train and contribute to the development of lawyers work winning skills

Collaborate and work closely with members of the wider team to deliver initiatives that are cost-efficient and time effective.


To be considered for this role you must have:
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a dedicated proposal/bids role within a professional services background

A strong academic background and educated to a degree level

Experience in leading and encouraging work-winning teams

Strong project and time management expertise

Experience working under pressure

Excellent attention to detail and an aptitude for presenting complex information
