Role Responsibilities:


  • Reporting to the Lead Buyer you will be a part of our commercial team, you will have full ownership of some of the fastest growing FMCG categories we have here at Bother
  • Working closely with our supplier partners to develop market leading brand activations and promotional plans that enable us to have best in class supplier terms/ JBP agreements
  • Partner with other teams at Bother to maximise opportunities to develop our range in response to our customers needs and wants, providing a commercially viable range of merchandise at a highly competitive price point
  • Continuously analyse category performance and customer behaviour to ensure our range consistently meets the needs of our customers and is delivered to them at great value
  • Keep up to date and aware of market trends, react to changes in demand

We'd love to meet someone that has:

  • A customer centric view to the value of your role and the entire buying function
  • Relevant experience as a Junior Buyer / Buyer who is looking to step up into their next role and take ownership of some of the fastest moving categories in the market.
  • Experience working within the FMCG sector and managing / working with some of the biggest household names and brands.
  • Courage to challenge the ways we work and disrupt the status quo.
  • Experience in creating joint business plans and commercial agreements.
  • Good interpersonal skills able to build and manage relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Commercial and keeps up to date and aware of market trends, changes in demand.
  • Effective negotiation skills
