Product Designer
Our Product Designers lead the way with our clients. They can facilitate workshops with business leaders and research next-generation experiences that tackle the threat of digital disruption. Of course, they know what good looks like and deliver against rapid agile delivery methodologies.


Key responsibilities

  • Conduct discovery workshops with stakeholders and customers;
  • Audit digital experiences across the physical and digital;
  • Identify business opportunities and understand customer needs;
  • Translate findings into customer journey maps and playback to stakeholders;
  • Concept and develop wireframes right through to highfidelity prototypes;
  • Test with users, validate, and iterate (at speed) based on feedback;
  • Define and build design standards, systems, and processes;
  • Ensure quality assurance across development;
  • Most importantly, ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas.

Particular areas of expertise

  • Discovery and research;
  • Strategy and planning;
  • Service and experience design;
  • Branding and visual design;
  • Testing and validation;
  • CRO and UX.

Must have

  • 5+ years experience working commercially within collaborative teams;
  • A strong understanding of web and app development;
  • A keen attention to detail and ability to work at pace;
  • A passion for inclusive and accessible design;
  • The ability to work collaboratively and autonomously all the same;
  • Experience using Figma.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience mentoring other designers;
  • A skill or two with either motion, 3D, or development;
  • Experience with brand ecosystems;
  • Experience using Axure or similar.

Experience

  • Evidence of working across mobile apps (iOS / Android, and React Native);

Portfolio

Storytelling: Use of storytelling to display their understanding of the missions, mindset, challenges, and solution of the product/service/brand they designed;

Methodology: How do they go about understanding customers/users; how do they interact with stakeholders; how do they interact with other workers;

Results: What value was realised for the business through the solution, eg. increased conversion, QoQ reduction for call-centre dependency, identified poor solution choice ultimately saving company £Xm;

Prototyping: Examples in portfolio of prototypes built with the likes of Axure, Figma, Protopie, Marvel et al.


Salary and location

Salary:
DOE, with yearly salary reviews, and company performance-based bonuses;

£35,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
