NET Recruit are partnering with an exceptional rapidly growing manufacturing business, to assist them in their search for an IT Security Engineer to join their team located near Portsmouth.

This is a very exciting opportunity for a passionate IT professional,well versed in IT Security, to join a business with excellent exposure to some of the biggest brands in the country, to assist them in finding solutions and safeguarding their team, as they continue to grow their workforce and also their presence in the market.

The individual within this position will be able to utilise some of the best technology and software on the market, gaining strong transferable skills and knowledge.

Your Role and Responsibilities
While in this role your duties will include but are not limited to:

Providing continuous business support in dealing with matters of IT security
Implementing preventative solutions to tackle the management of incoming IT risks
Supporting the workforce to ensure they are educated on the risk of incoming threats and how to identify them
Providing training where necessary in relation to security of the IT Infrastructure
Addressing any threat or security risk that has been flagged
Working on solutions to better secure the IT infrastructure used by the company
Managing security tools utilised by the business

What you will need to Apply:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have strong experience within a technical security position and have excellent exposure to antivirus software, threat detection and firewalls.

A relevant degree would also be highly desirable as well alongsideknowledge of the Vulnerability Management Lifecycle.

To ensure this role is highly successful, you will also need to have impeccable communication skills in order to liaise with a variety of stakeholders effectively on potentially important matters.
