Our highly reputable Accountancy Practice Client is looking to recruit for a
Business Development Executive as part of their
Marketing team to be based out of
Solent office and provide support to all offices and service lines with B2B lead generation and business development.

The purpose of this role is to act as an Ambassador for the firm, developing professional relationships internally and externally to maximise business opportunities, from new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

Developing new and existing relationships with local professional contacts.
Identifying new prospects for the firm to partner with.
Using LinkedIn to identify new business opportunities.
Maximising business opportunities with existing clients.
Identifying leads and booking introduction meetings for the Directors and Partners to attend.
Arranging and attending networking and social events.
Assisting Partners and Directors with prospecting.
Assisting with developing and implementing the business development strategy.
Be an expert in the firm's service and offerings to clients.
Keep up to date with local business news.
Analysing historical data to revive dormant leads to generate new business opportunities.

The Person

Proven sales / business development / Leadgeneration or account management experience
Financial sector or accounting practice knowledge desirable
Worked in a target driven environment
Demonstrate experience prospecting and onboarding new clients / business opportunities
Comfortable with attending networking events
GCSE in Maths and English
The role would required to be in the Fareham office and region

Required Competencies

Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to deal with all levels of professional contacts and stakeholders
Ability to meet targets and deadlines
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in both written and verbal communications.
