Copywriter:

Full Time 39 Hours

Permanent

Hybrid working (Head Office Windermere - minimum 2 day per week)

£21,500 per annum


The Role:


This role produces engaging content which is both customer focused and drives SEO rankings and thus drives the commercial performance.

Our Copywriters take direction from the Creative Services Manager to directly produce copywriting content.


The role works closely with internal customers, as well as other creative services resources, to align message hierarchy in the production of this content.


About You:


You will have experience of copywriting, preferably B2C and ideally in a multichannel business with a significant online presence and you can demonstrated operational excellence of supporting change in a dynamic business.

You'll need have experience of optimising copy for search engines and briefing, developing and approving copy from agencies.


You are educated to GCSE English to grade C or equivalent with good computer literacy - Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.


You are a natural copywriter, with the ability to craft emotive, engaging and error-free copy, and edit supplied copy effectively within tight deadlines.

You'll have excellent personal, written and verbal communication skills, as an integral part of the role involves liaising with internal colleagues and external agencies.


You'll be commercially savvy, with the ability to judge which creative decisions are likely to add value and boost customer engagement and commercial response.

You have high attention to detail with a natural ability to proofread - able to spot errors and omissions that others may miss.


You have the ability to manage your own and external supports time, working to strict deadlines whilst maintaining a positive outlook.

You are a team player, able to collaborate with others whilst positively challenging and welcoming feedback to drive self-improvement.
