Design & Media Officer - East of England, United Kingdom - Ashesi University

Ashesi's mission is to propel an African renaissance by educating ethical, entrepreneurial leaders.Located in Ghana, this private, non-profit university combines a rigorous multidisciplinary core with degree programs in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, and Engineering.

Assistant Director, Ashesi Entrepreneurship Centre
Key Responsibilities:
Graphic Design:
- Conceptualize and design visually compelling materials for both print and digital platforms, such as marketing collateral, social media assets, and event materials.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain brand consistency and adhere to design standards.
- Develop visually appealing layouts and infographics for reports, presentations, and publications.
- Create and update visual assets for the Centre's website and other online platforms.
- Implement design strategies that resonate with the entrepreneurial community.
Photography & Videography:
- Capture highquality photographs during events, workshops, and promotional activities.
- Edit and enhance photographs to ensure a consistent visual style and quality.
- Produce and edit engaging videos to create impactful narratives, including success stories, program highlights, and promotional content.
- Curate and manage an organized photo library for easy retrieval and use.
Digital Content Creation:
- Generate visually appealing content for various digital platforms, including social media channels, newsletters, and the Center's website.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing communications team to optimize visuals for online engagement and user experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in graphic design and media production, supported by a diverse portfolio.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro) and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of design principles, visual storytelling, and emerging trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
